With more than 17 years of expertise in the design, engineering, certification, manufacturing, maintenance, modification and distribution of aeronautical and general transportation equipment (including rail), Avianor has positioned itself as a vertical integrator in the marketplace.
Due to its significant growth over the past three years, Avianor has become a significant employer in the Montreal aerospace community, regularly bringing on new talent, employing over 250 people. The 170,000 square feet of warehouse, fabrication, repair shops and hangar space located at Mirabel Airport (YMX) should reach 250,000 square feet by the middle of 2013, due to the steady growth and diversification of Avianor Inc.
In the fourth quarter of 2012, Avianor continued to enhance its management structure by adding two experienced industry professionals.
Avianor is pleased to welcome Paul Costanzo as its new CFO. Paul has over 30 years of financial and operational management experience ranging from his role as President of Bell Helicopter Textron Canada from 1999 to 2002 to founding an aircraft manufacturing company.
Pierre L'Heureux has also joined Avianor as its Director of Operations. Pierre brings a wealth of experience from his former position as Director, Technical Procurement at Air Transat and through his procurement and regional jet experience at Bombardier.
With a strong management team and new company structure in place, Avianor looks forward to a successful 2013.
