Avianor Inc. is a privately held Canadian corporation involved in the design, manufacturing, repair, overhaul and distribution of aeronautical equipment. The company specializes in the manufacturing of interior equipment such as galleys, catering equipment, inserts, crew seats, closets, dividers and a multitude of customized products. Avianor complements these skills with a full range of distributed products for aircraft maintenance.
In 2007, Avianor brought a new service to its customers: heavy maintenance and cabin integration services. Avianor was able to put together the team necessary to accept detailed Interior modifications to be completed concurrent with Check modifications and other lease or sale activities. This effectively shortens the timeline needed to get the aircraft out of one operation into another. Key to the companies' ability to provide this service was the availability of 100,000 sq ft of Hangar space at the Montreal International Airport (Mirabel) which was in close proximity to its existing 105,000 sq ft of Interior manufacturing and refurbishment facilities.
Knowing that the destination for its wares was often a last minute decision led to that "Eureka" moment for Earl Diamond, Executive Vice President of the Avianor group, "It seems to me that a company that can assist an operator/owner to take advantage of the forced downtime required for a "C" or "Bridge" check by completing the Interior modifications concurrently, would have a winning formula".
In 2007 MAS completed 17 aircraft projects in Mirabel, with 2008 starting with Major B777 refurbishment; it is safe to say that the word is getting around!
In the summer of 2009, the company started offering 2 other services to its numerous clients: NDT and Avionics services.

Our facility located in Mirabel combined with our on-site aircraft inspection department supplies a high quality fast service to aircraft maintenance organizations worldwide. We are there for the long term, short term or your immediate demands. We have the professional staff to assist you on a moments notice.
MAS is proud to also offer full Avionics services to its customer, including Pitot/static system integrity test (leak test and 24 months inspection check, ATC transponder system check 24 months on wing re-calibration check, TCAS system functional check, Stby Pitot/static instruments calibration check, Ulb annual check and/or battery replacement, Kannad ELT re-programming, Modification of various systems, IFE & component shop (limited) and Snag investigation & rectification.
