Avianor Inc. is a fully owned Canadian company with expertise in manufacturing, repairs and refurbishing of aeronautical equipment. Avianor specializes in the fabrication of interior components such as galleys, catering equipment, built in elements, crew seats along with a multitude of custom made products. In addition to manufacturing abilities, Avianor also distributes a complete line of aircraft maintenance products.
Avianor takes pride in being a cabin integrator to numerous major airlines. In this end, Avianor stocks a large inventory of parts and components and has a customer service team in place to procure what is generally not held in inventory or is simply not readily available. We specialize in locating difficult to find items.
Avianor added to its already growing number of services an expertise in the designing and certification of aircraft components. This engineering division offers complete support services in conception, design, engineering and certification for all types of interior refurbishment projects.
Mirabel Aero Services Inc. is an Approved Maintenance Organization (AMO) wholly owned by Avianor Group. This company specializes in aircraft and component maintenance and overhaul (wheels, brakes, seats and cabin interiors). MAS presently performs wheel and brake (carbon & steel) maintenance for numerous types of civil aircraft and is the largest independently owned wheel and brake shop in Canada.
In addition to this expertise, different types of products and services were added in order to respond to our customers’ specific requirements, one of these being our Cut and Sew department. This department manufactures soft goods such as dress covers, curtains, mattress covers and and numerous other items. We work with a variety of fabrics, leathers and plastics all meeting the industry’s smoke and flame requirements.
MAS is proud to offer a wide range of products and services to meet our clients’ unique requirements. With over 150,000 sqare foot of warehouse, fabrication, repair shops and hangar space, MAS also offers aircraft heavy maintenance and complete cabin reconfiguration.
In 2008, the company has added yet another service to offer to its customers: Non Destructive Testing (NDT) services. The on-site aircraft inspection department supplies a high quality, fast service to maintenance organizations across Canada. This includes a Magnetic Particle inspection, Radiographic inspection, Eddy Current inspection, Ultrasonic inspection, X-Ray and surface crack detection. We offer level II and level III services worldwide. These services are now offered under the name of Aerocas.
In 2009, the growing list of services offered sees another one added: Avionics services: Pitot/static system integrity test, ATC transponder system check, Ulb annual check and/or battery replacement, Modification of various systems just to name a few.
Since Avianor’s founding, we have been interested in research and development. Every year, our investment in this area has increased in proportion to our sales in manufacturing and maintenance, 2 to 4 % of the groups sales and 10 to 15 % based on the sales of new products that were manufactured. Avianor is actively involved in creating prototypes and samples for our customers.
Customer Service Excellence
To better promote our numerous products and services an international distribution system was put in place. The team of representatives based in Mirabel is responsible for all of North America while a team of agents based around the globe responds to requirements from aviation clients worldwide. Completing the line of services offered by Avianor is the distribution of aircraft maintenance products.
