DRAKKAR Group consolidates its Aviation Line Maintenance and Mobile Repair Operations under AVIANOR Mobile Services Inc.

27 October 2026

Strategic integration strengthens AVIANOR’s MRO and A220 Center of Excellence capabilities and expands its ability to support airline customers across Canada and the United States.

MONTRÉAL, QC, Canada, October 28, 2026 – DRAKKAR Group (“DRAKKAR”) today announced the merger of Argo MRT Amériques Inc. and Techni-Air 2000 Inc. into a new entity, AVIANOR Mobile Services Inc., bringing its MRO services together under the AVIANOR banner.

This strategic initiative represents another milestone in DRAKKAR’s ongoing consolidation strategy, bringing together complementary aviation maintenance capabilities under a unified brand to deliver a more comprehensive, responsive and customer-focused service offering.

The integration combines Techni-Air 2000’s established line maintenance expertise with Argo MRT Amériques’ mobile repair capabilities, including Aircraft on Ground (AOG) support. Together, these operations will complement AVIANOR’s existing Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) Modification and Technical Support services, strengthening the Group’s ability to support airlines and aircraft operators throughout their operational and maintenance requirements.

By bringing these capabilities together, AVIANOR aims to provide customers with a more coordinated service offering, greater operational flexibility and improved access to specialized maintenance expertise across multiple Canadian airports.

A Strategic Step in DRAKKAR’s Consolidation

“DRAKKAR’s strategy is built around three core lines of services: Maintenance, Logistics and Manufacturing, serving the aerospace, defence and ground transportation sectors. Our consolidation efforts are focused on simplifying our structure, strengthening operational synergies and making it easier for customers to access our specialized capabilities. Bringing our aviation maintenance services together under the AVIANOR brand is a clear example of this strategy in action, reinforcing our commitment to delivering integrated, value-added solutions to our customers,” said Benoit Hudon, President and Chief Executive Officer of DRAKKAR Group.

Strengthening AVIANOR’s Service Offering

The creation of AVIANOR Mobile Services Inc. further reinforces AVIANOR’s position as an integrated aviation maintenance service provider, combining established MRO capabilities with line maintenance and mobile technical support.

“For some time, our ambition has been to bring our airline maintenance services together under one recognized brand. This integration is an important step in that direction, allowing us to better leverage our teams, expertise and operational presence across multiple Canadian airports. More importantly, it strengthens our ability to respond to our customers’ evolving needs with coordinated, reliable and flexible maintenance solutions,” said Pierre-Louis Patin, Vice President of AVIANOR Mobile Services Inc.

The creation of AVIANOR Mobile Services Inc. marks an exciting new chapter, and the company will work closely with customers, employees and business partners to ensure service continuity and a smooth transition while unlocking new opportunities for growth.
